A history of women's role in relation to water and wells
One of the ancient wells and springs in Beit Aula’ to rest, drink clean water and hear stories about the relationship between women and wells
There are many archaeological wells and springs in the Beit Aula’ village, and most of them are located in the western region of the town.
The Al Qaws well is very ancient and is one of the three most important wells in the area (Abu Qabsa well, Al Suwaida well and Alqous well). The farmers of the region use these wells and springs to irrigate their crops and for their livestock to drink. This well was excavated about 100 years ago.
The oldest and most common kind of well is a water well to access groundwater and store rainwater.
Beit Ula is a Palestinian town in the Hebron Governorate, located ten kilometers northwest of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.
